A must for any old time radio show fan!

A perfect gift anytime.

The Navy Lark was an affectionate spoof on the Senior Service from 1959 to 1977, making it one of the longest running comedy shows ever.

All the antics took place aboard HMS Troughtbridge and the crew consisted of the Number One, in the first series played by Dennis Price played the Number one, but Stephen Murray took his place when he departed for a Broadway show after the first series.

Leslie Phillips was the Sub-Lieutenant, a silly-ass whose cry of 'Left hand down a bit' meant impending doom for whichever port they were docking in, or whatever vessel was nearby, and Petty Officer Pertwee, played by Jon Pertwee.

Please note: these are in the public domain and have been collected over many years.

This is now probably the most comprehensive collection of this fabulous show.

While only two 30-minute old time radio episodes will fit on a single CD, MP3's are a kind of sound compression format that allows you store 50+ hours of old time radio shows on just a single CD and are playable in your computer or MP3 player. It saves a lot of storage space and is a great way to collect and store old time radio shows for easy listening.

Recorded on 45-rpm Vinyl looking CD-R disc, for that old time look & feel.
