Two engravings on a full page individually entitled.
Prince's Racquet Club Courts, Hans Place, Belgrave Square - This engraving shows interior of the squash club viewed from the top of the stairs looking down onto the gallery where spectators are watching two players on the court.
Grouse Shooting - Drawn by Wolf - Shows a dog approacing a group of grouse with two guns or beaters in the background. SleekburnC.
There is unrelated text between the two engravings, with unrelated text on the reverse (adverts).
Provenance: From the Illustrated London News; Published by William Little, 198 Strand. 1857. The Illustrated London News was a newspaper founded by Herbert Ingram and Mark Lemon, the Editor of Punch, with the first edition of the Illustrated London News appearing on 14 May 1842.
The page measures overall approximately 400 x 275 mm (16 x 10.75 "). There is some age yellowing spotting with two tiny repairs to the border edge on reverse - please check the larger picture for condition. This item will be packaged in a tube unless otherwise requested.
