Norham Castle on the Tweed
A fine print from steel engraving, showing Norham Castle. Standing on one side of the River Tweed in Northumberland, Norham Castle is the northernmost fortification in England, and another castle with a turbulent history. The ruins of the keep and surrounding walls are all that remains of the former chief border stronghold of the Prince Bishops of Durham.
The engraved area of the print measures 150 x 100 mm or 6 x 4 inches approximately, plus titled borders; (overall approximately 255 x 200 mm or 10 x 8 inches).There is some age yellowing possibly with some spotting - please check the larger picture for condition.
This item will be shipped flat in a board backed envelope, and protected inside that envelope by a plastic sleeve
