Provenance: Britton's Picturesque Antiquities of English Cities; Published London July 1, 1828 by J. Britton, Burton Street.
It is mounted onto conservation card ready for trimming, matting and framing.
The overall print including card measures 245 x 210 mm (9.5 x 8.25 inches) approx. incl. titled borders. The engraved area measures 185x135mm.
There is some age yellowing which is a feature of items of great age - please check the larger picture for condition.
This item will be shipped flat in a board backed envelope.
The use of the term "an original print" in this case, is a pictorial image made in a manner which allows it to be multiplied, and originating from the date stated. This includes examples of various methods of printmaking including engravings, etchings, woodcuts etc. Inevitably many of these prints would have originally been bound in books.
