An engraving of Titus Flavius Josepus. Josephus was born Joseph ben Matityahu (Yosef ben Matityahu), a first-century Roman-Jewish scholar, historian and hagiographer, who was born in Jerusalem, then part of Roman Judea.

It is blank on the reverse but there is some bleedthrough of print from other pages. There is age yellowing and handling marks to edges - please check the larger picture for condition. It measures overall including borders 205 x 130 mm (8 x 5.25 inches) approximately. This item will be shipped flat in a board backed envelope.
