An opportunity to buy a brand-new PAL DVD of one of THE great British romantic adventure films made in the 1930s:

The Scarlet Pimpernel, 1934, starring Leslie Howard and Merle Oberon

Running Time: circa 93 minutes

The source material is excellent – providing superb picture with great black-and-white contrast and excellent sound quality.  But note that, for some reason, the closing “End” titles are completely missing, and thus the film ends abruptly.

Your brand-new DVD disc will be copied from this source material (without any artwork), and will be supplied in a clear plastic wallet, NOT in a DVD case.

Note that the picture attached is for illustrative purposes only.

An Alexander Korda Production

Directed by Harold Young

Photography: Harold Rosson

Based on the play The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Emmuska Orczy and Montagu Barstow (London, 5 Jan 1905) and the novel The Scarlet Pimpernel by Orczy (New York, 1908)

Region 2:

IMPORTANT NOTE for American, Canadian and other non-Region 2 buyers:
