An opportunity to buy a brand-new PAL DVD-R of one of the excellent western films produced by Harry Sherman in the early 1940s:
The Kansan, 1943, starring Richard Dix, Jane Wyatt and Albert Dekker
Running Time: approximately 79 minutes
The source material is very good – the sound quality is fine, but the picture quality is somewhat soft throughout the entire film, which might not allow clear magnification onto a big screen. Also, over the first few seconds or so, there are a lot of splices at the start of the opening credit titles, but the print soon settles down. The original print appears to have been used for television presentation, as there are several cue-dot appearances at fairly regular intervals throughout. But, overall, still very watchable …..
Your brand-new DVD disc will be created from this source material (without any artwork), and will be supplied in a clear plastic wallet, NOT in a DVD case.
