The Atomic Man, 1955, starring Gene Nelson and Faith Domergue, directed by Ken Hughes
Running Time: approximately 77 minutes
The source material is excellent – it has very good sound and picture, given the age of the print.
Your brand-new DVD disc will be copied from this source material (without any artwork), and will be supplied in a clear plastic wallet, NOT in a DVD case.
Note that the picture attached is for illustrative purposes only, and is therefore NOT included or offered with this auction.
IMPORTANT NOTE for American, Canadian and other non-Region 2 buyers:
You will need a multi-region DVD player to play this disc.
Starring Gene Nelson and Faith Domergue, with Joseph Tomelty, Donald Gray and Peter Arne
The original British title was “Timeslip, and released in the United States as “The Atomic Man”. Note that this print is from the American release and thus carries the American release title; picture quality is very good but with a 'softish' focus throughout, which does not detract from your enjoyment.
Director: Ken Hughes
Writer: Charles Eric Maine (novel and screenplay)
An atomic scientist (Peter Arne) is found floating in a river with a bullet in his back and a radioactive halo around his body. The radioactivity has put him seven-and-a-half seconds ahead of us in time. He teams up with a reporter (Gene Nelson) to stop his evil double from destroying his experiments in artificial tungsten.
Please note that the picture quality of the original material currently available, whilst very good indeed, is slightly “soft”.
Please read all the details of this listing so you know exactly what you are buying.
What will I receive? Your film will come on a DVD-R disc in a plastic DVD sleeve with no artwork. The title of the film will be written on the sleeve for your convenience.
