Engraved by Charles Heath after a painting by F. P. Stephanoff. aka Philip Francis Stephanoff 1787/8–1860. It comes with an accompanying original page of text describing the scene.

It is printed on good quality grade paper which is blank on the reverse. There is a little age yellowing and handling marks to edges - please check the larger picture for condition.The overall print including borders measures 240 x 190 mm (9.5 x 7.5 inches) approximately. The print bears the indent markings on the borders from the engraving printing process and is a feature of prints of this type and time. This item will be shipped flat in a board backed envelope.

This includes examples of various methods of printmaking including engravings, etchings, woodcuts etc. Many prints inevitably would have been originally bound in a book at some time as was this one.
