Item Description

Agrimonia eupatoria ‘Agrimony’ – Perennial – 50 seeds

Product number WIL05

Native British perennial which grows to a height of 60cm tall. It has erect stems which bear long yellow spikes of beautiful bright yellow flowers. Found along roadsides, wasteland, hedges and banks. Ideal for the border in cottage gardens and other informal settings. Agrimonia is a digestive tonic and is particularly beneficial in the treatment of irritation and infection of the digestive tract in children. It is also useful in treatment of gallstones and cirrhosis of the liver. Should not be taken if constipation is present.

Height 60cm  - Flowers summer

Sow in spring on the surface of a good moist seed compost just covering the seeds with compost. Seal inside a polythene bag (remove as soon as seedlings start to appear) and keep at 13C. Please be patient as germination can be slow. Transplant into 9cm pots when large enough to handle. Plant into the garden after all risk of frost.
