CQout - Frequently Asked Questions - EasyPay Help for Sellers

......... The quick & easy payment service from CQout

What is EasyPay & how do I sign up ?

EasyPay is CQout's 'in house' payment system, offering Buyers and Sellers the easiest and quickest way to pay for purchases made through CQout at push of a button.

EasyPay and SecurePay are CQout's in-house payment systems therefore all Buyers and Sellers have full accesses to these services without the need for any further sign-ups, making the payments part of the deal easier than ever before.

To make the shopping process simple, easy and safe for buyers, all Sellers on CQout are required to accept EasyPay and SecurePay, our in-house payment services

Why should I use EasyPay?

EasyPay is simply the quickest way to collect your money from your CQout Buyers with a minimum of administration.

Because Buyers can pay for purchases at the click of a button using the credit or debit card that they've already registered with CQout, it's quick and easy for them to make payment, and you're less likely to end up with a non-paying bidder.

Accepting EasyPay also provides a means by which Sellers who are not credit card merchants in their own right to accept credit card payments from Buyers.

How much does EasyPay cost?

EasyPay costs the Seller 3.5% of the transaction value (subject to a minimum fee of £0.25 ($0.31)).  There are no other costs, because CQout pays monies received from Buyers direct into the Seller's bank account.

When & how does the Seller get paid?

When EasyPay monies become due to a Seller for the first time, CQout contacts the Seller to confirm bank account details.

Monies held in EasyPay account are transferred direct to the seller's bank account once a month, at the end of each month. This keeps cash flow reasonably quick which we know is important to many sellers while keeping administration to a minimum. Sellers who transact more than 1000 per month can opt for a fortnightly payout. Sellers can also request instant payout at any time on demand for which there is a fee of 5.00 GBP.

In Summary, the payout options are:

  1. Once a month at the end of each month - Free of charge
  2. Once every 2 weeks if you trade more than 1000 GBP each month - Free of Charge
  3. On Demand at any time - Charge 5.00 GBP

For International Sellers without a UK bank account we offer a range of payment options to suit the particular needs and circumstances of the seller. Contact AuctionMaster to discuss your needs.

Is EasyPay secure?

EasyPay is designed solely to move funds quickly and easily between Buyer and Seller. Risk of chargeback is eliminated by the use of the 'Verified by Visa' and 'MasterCard SecureCode' systems.

CQout Seller Protection Policy:

Payments to merchants are fully guaranteed provided the goods are dispatched to the verified address provided by CQout, using a shipping service that provides Proof of Delivery.

Note: Proof of dispatch will not be sufficient, if a dispute arises, sellers will be required to provide "proof of delivery" to qualify for Seller protection

What's the difference between EasyPay and SecurePay?

EasyPay is simply a convenient method of paying for goods.  It offers no purchase protection to the Buyer.

SecurePay is CQout's 'in house' escrow service which offers the Buyer 100% security and peace of mind. See SecurePay FAQ page for full details.

How do I refund a customer who has paid by EasyPay?

Only a full or partial refund can be made to a Buyer through EasyPay (i.e you cannot refund a Buyer more than the total value of the original transaction). All refunds are subject to a fee of £0.45 ($0.55), which will be charged to the Seller's account. The original EasyPay transaction fee charged to the Seller is not refundable.

How do I know I can trust and rely on the EasyPay service?

EasyPay is operated by CQout Ltd, a  company registered in the UK with over 6 years trading history. The company's reputation rests on providing the highest standard of service to both Buyers and Sellers and maintaining high standards of security, integrity and impartiality. CQout's payment systems have been in operation for over 6 years with an excellent track record.

What is the advantage of EasyPay to me as a Seller?

Benefits for Sellers:
  • Makes it easy- Buyers are more likely to pay quickly

  • 100% Guaranteed Payment - NO risk of chargebacks (with PayPal, the Seller carries the risk of chargeback for up to 6 months)
