CQout Online Auctions validates all users at registration, to ensure they are who they say
there are, but it is obviously
important that bidders in an auction feel that they can trust the seller to deliver
the items listed in a timely and efficient manner, and can be sure that those items are as
described.
Access to "rate a user" is provided on the 
page and also by a link in the
email which notifies you that you have bought or sold an item.
A seller's user ratings are shown as a pair of numbers on each of his/her
auction after their name. The "Green" digits are the positive ratings,
the "Red" digits are the negative ratings. Example:

A useful guide to the reliability of a seller is the experience of other CQout users
with that seller. If many other CQout users have received a good service, it is likely that
you will too. To record this feedback, CQout has provided a User Rating system, which
encourages every successful bidder to report back on their experience of
trading with the seller using a simple online form. This information is available for view online by all registered
users and encourages sellers and buyers to maintain a satisfactory conduct. Negative
ratings may discourage buyers from trading with that person.
- 3 strikes and you are out!- Any user with 3 negative ratings will be
suspended from trading permanently.
- Ratings are mediated- CQout does investigate each case and take appropriate action
to protect other users.
- Retaliatory Ratings- Unjust negative
ratings issued by one party just because they have received a negative rating is
a violation of our site rules and can result in a fine and suspension of that
user
- Imported Ratings- CQout will not
import ratings for any user from any other auction site, so you can trust
our ratings to be 100% genuine. Neither can users buy or sell ratings as
they do on eBay and other auction sites.
CQout registration and validation process makes it impossible for users with a poor reputation
to simply re-appear on the site, by changing their user ID and
starting all over again. Whilst this will undoubtedly deter some users from doing business
through CQout, it protects the reputation, quality and
security of the CQout trading environment.
Use the System that is there- We strongly encourage both buyers and sellers
use the
User Rating facility after every transaction,
But if the service was just average then do not rate positive or negative, just skip.
Note: If you experience a problem with a deal, try resolving it with the
other party.
Use email and telephone contact to communicate with the other
party.
The Rating system is the "FINAL SCORE" not a means of first contact!
